In fact she originally had not even planned to have a photographer, its only when one of her sisters – worried that Sophie might regret this decision – convinced Sophie to enquire with me to see how a professional photographer could really add to their day and future memories. I was delighted when let me know she wanted me on their special day.
Sophie went for a boho rustic feel for their wedding. A look that never goes out of style and which is still going very strong with many brides to be. Lots of couples are also really keen on outdoors and woodland ceremonies so the venue Captains Wood Barn in Essex certainly ticked all the boxes. Bob the owner was attentive on the day and worked relentlessly to ensure everything went smoothly.
Sophie planned and styled her entire wedding, from favours to flowers, from woodland decorations to entertainment, from outdoor games to sweet cart…She even made her own wedding gown! Everything had been thought of, everything was planned to ensure guests were spoilt and the memories were sweet.
For all sweet treats, Sophie opted for a cream tea instead of a wedding breakfast. The very friendly and talented baker Marnie from Sugar Lump Lane styled the tables and presented guests with a mouthwatering display of cakes delights. All served with Prosecco and pots of tea.
