T&C / Client Agreement

1. Ownership & Copyright – Under UK law, Fairweather Photography owns the copyright in all images created. You may not reproduce, scan, digitally alter, crop or distribute any image. Copyright protection is automatic and remains the property of Fairweather Photography at all times.
2. Licence to Client – When you purchase deliverables (prints or digital files), you are acquiring a non exclusive non transferable licence for personal use only. You may print and share for personal use but not for commercial or promotional purposes without prior written consent.
3. Digital Files / High resolution Images – If you purchase high resolution files, you are licensed for unlimited personal printing. Fairweather Photography retains copyright. Files may not be edited, cropped, or altered without written consent. We are not responsible for print quality from third party labs or shops.
4. Model release – You grant Fairweather Photography from a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use images from your session for marketing and portfolio purposes, including website, social media, promotional materials & exhibitions. You may withdraw consent in writing, but not retroactively.
5. Social media / Sharing – We may post low resolution images on our social media pages. You may share these provided the watermark remains intact if visible. Removing or altering copyright metadata, logos or watermarks are prohibited under UK copyright law.
6. Hosting & gallery access – Your private gallery will be hosted online for 10 days from notification. Please download and safely back up your files. After 10 days the gallery may be removed or archived. Extended hosting is available upon request for an additional fee.
7. Black & White / Colour conversions – Requests to convert images from black & white to colour must be made at the ordering stage. Once final images are delivered and archived, edits or reversions are no longer possible.
8. Booking Fee – A non refundable booking fee of £80 secures your session.
9. Limitation of liability – Fairweather Photography’s liability is limited to the total amount paid under this Agreement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Force majeure events may excuse performance.
10. Privacy / Personal Data – Your information will never be shared without your consent, except where required by law.
11. Marketing Permission – You agree to be added to the newsletter subscribers list & receive from time to time newsletters by Fairweather Photography. You can unsubscribe at any time.
